Sugar Labeling on Alcoholic Beverages?

Alcohol- the drug that's soooo safe that consumers need not know what form of sugar it contains

Recently I was in a supermarket looking at the various alcoholic beverages that obviously contain some form of sugar, as they are sweet.

Yet no matter how hard one looks, there is nothing on the label about its sweetener content: aka is it some form of sugar, or it it God-forbid, HFCS?

That's some government that requires such labeling on other products, but not upon beverages containing alcohol- as if alcohol renders the beverage sooo safe as to render the labeling of the sugar content simply unnecessary.
